2013 happened to be a great year for the foundation. We’d achieved the majority of our targets for the year including hosting and sponsoring more events. We started 2013 wondering what the future would hold for the Alfred Polo Foundation, and although we all like to have goals and aspirations, sometimes they never work out as planned. But we are delighted to know that we have supported, inspired and promoted a large number of youth in the last 12 months.
We have moved on however and are now setting our eyes on our 2014 targets. We’re working towards achieving at least five commitments this year coupled with the need to accelerate the work we’ve started and to mobilize even more people. Striving for the next challenge is a great way to push the foundation forward and on to the next level.
Nonetheless, we still face some big and challenging targets: to meet sustainable sourcing of funds for our projects/events; getting donations for sporting equipment and kits; and to reach all the youth all over the country to nurture and develop their skills and talents. With our 12 month progressive plan, we believe we will be able to overcome these challenges.
Have you got plans and aspirations for 2014? Why not let us know – we would love to hear them.
