The foundation also seeks to come up with ways to address and prevent drug abuse.There are a number of issues that cause the youth to engage in drug abuse with the most common being peer pressure, depression, and lack of a meaningful activity such as education or employment.

Positive outcomes of engagement include a decrease in the rate of substance abuse, a decrease in rate of crime, an increase in academic performance and a more meaningful connection with a youth’s community.
